Assalamualaikum and hello ladies.
Today I will do a review plus swatches because you know swatches make us feel better and satisfied and I just love to swatch my makeup products for no reason. ^^

As a beauty addict, I'm pretty sure almost all of you own at least one eye shadow base or sometimes known as cream eye shadow.

For those who are not really familiar eye shadow base or cream shadow can be use on its own right away from the jar or as a base for your powder eye shadow or the regular eye shadow to make it stamped well on you lids, make you shadow looks vibrant and most importantly to make your eye makeup stay longer.

These are the cream eye shadow bases that are my favorites and ones that I have in my collection right now.

From left to right: Essence I  <3 STAGE eye shadow base, Maybelline Color Tatto 24Hr (Tenalicious Teal), Maybelline Color Tatto 24Hr (Bad to The Bronze), Essence stay all daylong lasting eyeshadow Glammy Goes to.. , MAC painterly paint pot

Here is the better view of the products. Most of the cream shadows come in the jar except for the Essence eyeshadow base on the left.

MAC Painterly Paint pot (RM75)
This is by far the biggest investment I have ever made among my cream based shadows.
I bought this because I have an oily lids and the Urban Decay Primer Potion doesn't do it justice to me. I watched and read reviews about this paint pot and most of them recommend this baby for oily lids.

MY REVIEW
Personally, its not really my favorite. My eye makeup creasing after 5 hours. I have major oily problems plus I have a pair of hooded eyelids and this crazy humid weather.
This paint pot is definitely gives you the perfect canvas to start with you eye makeup and I love the cleaned look when I blending it really well under my brows.

Essence stay all daylong lasting eyeshadow Glammy Goes to.. (Below RM15)
My biggest concern about this shadow base is that it dries like crazy ever since I got it. But the color pay off is just fantastic. It is beautiful shimmery champagne color and perfect for the lids.

MY REVIEW
I love majority of Essence products because they are so pocket-friendly. The only downside is that it dries faster and hard to blend. But this base works very well. The staying power is crazy but it does crease a bit on my lids but you can barely tell.

Maybelline Color Tatto 24Hr (Bad to The Bronze) RM19.90
It is one of the famous color tattos that are available in Malaysia and as well as the most raving color in the Youtube by the beauty gurus.

MY REVIEW
If you guys follow me on my instagram you guys probably know I was like obsessed when it first touched down in Malaysia. I fell in love with the color tattos collection back then when I watch BeautyBaby44 video. Ever since, I never stop praying and hoping it will available in Malaysia. And yes. My prayers is answered.
I love how smooth it blends in my lids. I also love to wear is on its own because the color itself is so pretty.
Now I understand why this color is so popular among the gurus. They staying power is incredible. This one is by far the best cream or eye shadow base that stays on my lids like the whole day. Try it. You will definitely agree with me.

Maybelline Color Tatto 24Hr (Tenalicious Teal) RM19.90
This is the second color tatto that I have in my colecction. It is beautiful creamy aqua-turquoise-y teal color. Well I bought it because you know I love turquoise so much!

MY REVIEW
I'm pretty sure you guys can see I barely touch it because I still in the process to learn how to play with bold color.
I only used it twice or so as eyeliner and it looks beautiful. I bought it when it was on sale around RM15. The formulation and staying power is the same as the Bad to bronze. I'm speechless.

Essence I  <3 STAGE eye shadow base (Below RM14)
This eye shadow base is almost like a concealer. The different is it comes in a lipgloss-alike kind of tube. Budget friendly for sure.

MY REVIEW
This is my first eye shadow base. I bought it because I want a matte finish base for my lids. When I saw it I think its kind of an inexpensive version of MAC painterly paint pot. The formulation is like concealer. Very easy to blend. Its perfect enough to give a clean canvas to my lids. The downside is, the staying power is not that impressive because of the liquid formed. But considering the price and the payoff. It is worth for every single penny.
